The fact that so many apartments were built down 156th Avenue allowed for many newcomers. Unfortunately for us, they are only renters and don't take pride in their neighborhood. How could they, they don't take pride in themselves. Too bad for those of us who own property. It may be time to start looking for a new place to live before the property value declines. It is a shame though, for it once was a wonderful town to live in. I do not appreciate it. I am sure that there are others who will agree. Take a walk over to 232 park and see how the mothers speak to their children. Abusive and loathing. Then they wonder why their children in turn speak that way to them. It is just terrible. I can't even bring myself to go there any longer with my family because I am tired of the profanity coming out of the parents, let alone their childrens' mouths. How sad!
