My sister Shani and I are former residents of the neighborhood. Shani is now a model/actress in California and may be seen on reruns of Knots Landing and some later episodes of Chico and the Man. I was just back in Howard Beach visiting my parents this past weekend, and saw a sign listing this website. My maiden name was Lauri Spencer, and I went to school with both of you too (PS 232, class of 76--Ms. Paraskos [by the way, now Mrs. Krauss!], 202, and then Adams).
