From March 3 to March 7, 2008,
A Howard Beach reunion of friends took place in Cape Coral, Florida. In attendance were John Angrisano, Bill and Mary Barnett, Bobby Connolly, Harry and Sharon Emmett, Ray and Peggy Flynn, Jack and Marge Higbee, Roy Lowey, Neil and Tina McHale, Paul and Mary O'Donnell, Donald and Ginnie O'Shaughnessy, Ed and Anita Straney and Marilyn Vitale. It was fantastic and many laughs were had be all while reminiscing past times. Most of the attendees graduated from Our Lady of Grace in the 1940"s and early 1950's.
Plans are now in the works for another one in Sept. of 2009, possibly on Long Island. Please advise if you are interested in attending.
Way to go Bill and Mary....was a great time and terrific to see everyone....count me in for the next one ...will try to post the group photo on this site and see if those who missed it can put names to the photos.....all the best Roy Lowey
Bill Barnet, I went to school with your brother ed, neil, bill higbe, peg sullivan. I graduated in 19049. I left the beach in1955 for the NAVY. rETURNED IN 1957 TO GET MRRIED. wE NOW LIVE IN hUDSON, FLA. have been back twice and hope go this August to show our son and his wife. If you remember me., let me know.

Bill Barnet, I put an answer on the forum for howard beach, no one has read it. I'm glad there was a reunion for the 1949 & 1950 class of OLG. My wife and I expect to see my old house this august while visiting our son on Long Island. Have not been back for over 6 years, i know things have change. I graduated with your brother Ed, neil, bill higbe, peg sullivan( who lives across from McCabes on 160th ave. My dad worked for your grandfather in his bar. We now live in Hudson, florida for the past 18 years. If your remember me let me know.
