How many people out there remember the ladies clothing store Vicki Lane's? I think it was between 158th and 159th Avenue. I do remember that she always employed some of the prettiest girls from the neighborhood that I always had a crush on. Stores like Vicki Lane's disappeared with the opening of Queens Center and Kings Plaza. I guess she couldn't make a profit after that. What year did the store finally close its doors??

Was that the clothing store? Really hot when designer jeans were in. If so, I think my family blew a small fortune there. Calvin Klein, Bonjour, Sasoon ... too cool.
