I am concerned with the amount of feral cats in the neighborhood. There are at least 15 that frequent my yard and soil my property on the old howard side. Numerous people are feeding them. Not to complain but they are using my garden as a toilet and I am concerned for the health and safety of my children. I was wondering if anyone else is dealing with this issue? In speaking with our neighbors (the ones not feeding them) I found out there are at least 3 separate large colonies. Am i within my rights to trap the cats and take them to animal care and control?

I have tried asking some neighbors to stop feeding them and was strongly told that was not possible. These cats are not spayed or neutered and not vaccinated.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
